Rules of Khoj

Amer Khoj is built on intention, limited craftsmanship and respect for the pieces we create. It is intentional creation. Every garment is limited, considered, crafted with purpose, and meant to be treasured. These rules exist to protect you, protect us, and protect the integrity of every garment we release.

You have the right to:

  • Honest product descriptions and sizing details
  • Secure handling of your personal information
  • Clear order tracking and responsible logistics
  • Support when an order is damaged, defective, or mishandled
  • Resolution under transparent policy terms

Returns & Exchanges

Amer Khoj garments are produced in limited quantities. Because of this, we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, fit issues, or preference.

Returns are accepted only in the rare case of a genuine manufacturing defect.

Eligibility

You may request a return only if:

  • The garment arrives damaged or defective
  • There is a clear manufacturing fault
  • An incorrect item is received

Normal wear or handling damage is not considered a defect.

How to Request

  • Contact us within 7 days of the product reaching you
  • Share clear images and details
  • If approved, ship the garment back to us
  • It will undergo quality inspection upon arrival

If the defect is verified:

  • If your size is still available, we will send a replacement
  • If it is sold out, you may choose:
    • Full refund, or
    • Store credit

Shipping

  • Customer pays return shipping initially
  • If the defect is confirmed valid, we will refund your shipping cost along with your resolution
  • Invalid claims will be returned without shipping reimbursement

Condition Requirements

Returned garments must be:

  • Unworn
  • Unwashed
  • With original tags and packaging

Size Exchanges

Due to limited production, we do not support size exchanges.

International Orders

Same policy applies. Duties or return costs refunded only if a defect is verified.

We stand by our craft, if something truly slips past us, we will do right by you.


Shipping & Delivery

Processing & Dispatch

Orders are generally processed and dispatched within the same day if ordered before 3pm IST or next day if the order is placed later

Please note:
Our fulfillment partner observes a weekly off on Tuesdays. Orders placed on Tuesday will be processed the following working day.


Delivery Timelines

Once dispatched, your order will typically reach you within:

  • India: 2–4 working days
  • International: 7–10 working days

Delivery timelines may vary depending on courier performance, location, and (for international shipments) customs processing. In rare cases of operational or regulatory delays, we will keep you informed.


Delivery Attempts & RTO

Our courier partners generally attempt delivery up to three times. If unsuccessful due to wrong address, inability to reach the recipient, refusal to accept, or failure to clear COD, the package may be returned to us. Shipping fees in such cases are non-refundable.


International Shipments

Customs duties, import taxes, and clearance charges (if applicable) are the responsibility of the customer. Failure to clear customs will result in cancellation of delivery, with shipping fees being non-refundable.


Lost, Damaged, or Tampered Shipments

If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, tampered, or open:

  • Refuse delivery or
  • Ensure delivery receipt is marked with “damaged / tampered” remarks
  • Contact us immediately with photos (and unboxing video where possible)

We will investigate with our logistics partner and resolve fairly.


Incorrect Address

Amer Khoj is not responsible for delivery failures due to incorrect or incomplete addresses submitted at checkout.


Privacy & Data Protection

Your data exists to serve your order — not to exploit you. We only collect what is necessary to:

  • Process your order
  • Provide support
  • Improve user experience

We do not sell or misuse your information. Full legal Privacy Policy applies.


Terms Of Service

By placing an order, you acknowledge:

  • Amer Khoj owns all imagery, design content, and branding
  • Prices, taxes, and duties are transparently displayed before checkout
  • Fraud, misuse, or unlawful activity is not tolerated
  • Governing law applies to India
  • Disputes will follow applicable jurisdiction and legal frameworks
